Family, friends, visitors to Kingston and anyone else keen on observing the racing at the 2007 Volvo Youth Sailing ISAF World Championship are in luck!
During the competition days of this prestigious international youth event, there will be opportunities for spectators to head out on the water to watch one or all of the three race courses. The spectator boats will depart from and return to the Kingston Yacht Club (www.kingstonyachtclub.com), located approximately 2 kilometers to the east of the Portsmouth Olympic Harbor. The ISAF Youth World organizers are very pleased that the Kingston Yacht Club has opened its doors for spectators, volunteers, sailors and “sailors to be” to visit and use the club’s facilities!
Any interested spectators are asked to contact the 2007 Volvo Youth Sailing ISAF World Championship headquarters, in advance, youthworlds@cork.org or 613 545 1322. Please indicate which days you would like to be out on the water (July 14, 15, 16, 18, 19 and/or 20), and also please highlight what your course preference would be. (29er/Hobie, Laser/Radial and/or RSX board).
